Program Information
The graduate in History, Geography and Civic Education Teaching from the Universidad de La Frontera is a professional specialized in social sciences and with the skills to work in secondary education. During ten semesters, the student receives a comprehensive education in history, geography and pedagogy, what enables him to educate Chilean students in any region of the country, especially the Araucania Region and the south of Chile. The training also aims to prepare a flexible and versatile professional who can adapt and cope properly in the fields of education, history, geography (and social sciences in general), which are disciplines of great importance for the local, regional, national and global sustainable development in today's world.
