Program information

Nurses are professionals characterized by their performance in the care of individuals, families and the community throughout the life cycle. They are part of a globalized society and able to work in the fields of health care, administration, education and research. They have skills in the promotion, protection, recovery and rehabilitation of health, in palliative care and leadership in a multidisciplinary team; and their ethical, critical, creative and humanistic attitude allows them to carry out this profession.

Occupational field

A Nurse, graduated from the Universidad de La Frontera, is able to work in public and private clinics, hospitals, and in public and private health agencies. The training also allows the graduate to carry out activities such as community work, occupational health, teaching and research.
