Program Information

A Journalist, trained at the Universidad de La Frontera, is a communications professional, whose main functions are to manage and produce information for the analysis, planning and implementation of communication tasks in the fields of journalism, institutional communication and communication consultancy. He has a solid disciplinary training in communication sciences and knowledge of communication research methodologies. Both, his disciplinary and professional training, enable him to integrate himself in a proactive, critical and socially responsible manner into work teams, in accordance with the dynamics of social, cultural and technological change in complex multicultural, plural and democratic societies.

Occupational field

A Journalist, graduated from the Universidad de La Frontera, will be able to work in the media; in internal and external communication in the administration of the state and the private sector, and creating and / or integrating himself into communications consultancy agencies.
