Program information

Nurses are professionals characterized by their performance in the care of individuals, families and the community throughout the life cycle. They are part of a globalized society and able to work in the fields of healthcare, administration, education, and research. They have skills in health promotion, protection, recovery and rehabilitation; in palliative care; or as leaders of a multidisciplinary team; with an ethical, reflexive, creative and humanistic attitude.

Occupational field

A Nurse, graduated from the Universidad de La Frontera, can work in public and private health centers, clinics, hospitals, and in public and private health agencies. The training also allows the graduate to carry out activities such as community work, occupational health, teaching, and research.
